Jerry Grafstein, Q.C.
Chairman of The Board
The Honourable Jerry S. Grafstein Q.C. holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto and has taught the Bar Admission Course at Osgoode Hall. He has wide-ranging legal and business experience in all aspects of media. Mr. Grafstein was a co-founder of a range of media companies, focusing on broadcasting, cable, communications, and publication enterprises in Canada, the USA, the UK and South America. He recently co-founded on-line news sites from Canada, USA, Brazil, China, Russia, Africa, UK, Europe and the Mideast. Mr. Grafstein advised several key government ministries, including Transportation, External Affairs, Consumer and Corporate Affairs and Justice. He was appointed to the Senate of Canada in 1984 by then Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Mr. Grafstein has served on all Senate Committees, including the Foreign Affairs and the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committees. He served as Chairman of the Senate Banking, Trade and Commerce Committees. While in the Senate, Mr. Grafstein was a long serving Co-Chair of the Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group, and a long serving senior officer of the Organization for Security and CoOperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA). He retired from the Senate on January 1, 2010. Mr. Grafstein continues his law practice in corporate finance and communication law and as counsel emeritus too. Robert A. Cashell Sr.

Mr. Robert A. Cashell, Sr.’s business career has spanned nearly 50 years primarily in the gaming industry. Mr. Cashell began his gaming career in 1967 when he and four friends bought Bill & Effie’s Truck Stop located just west of Reno, Nevada. He personally managed the growth of the company, now known as "Boomtown" and completed a master plan for the hotel and casino development. He sold his interest in 1988. Mr. Cashell later served as Chairman of the Board of Cashell Enterprises a hotel casino management company and owned, operated or managed numerous gaming properties including the Alamo Travel Plaza and the Topaz Lodge.
Cashell is one of Nevada’s best known business and public figures having served on the University of Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents. Following his term as a University Regent, he was elected Lt. Governor for the State of Nevada in 1982. Working together with then Governor Richard Bryan, they created both the Nevada Commission on Economic Development and the Nevada Commission on Tourism. Bob subsequently served as Chairman of both Commissions.
Mr. Cashell also served as the Mayor of the City of Reno from 2002 to 2014.

Dan began his career as the food and beverage director at Boomtown Hotel & Casino in Reno, NV before migrating to advertising and public relations. In 1999 he acquired the majority ownership of Innerwest Advertising and Public Relations. Under his leadership the company grew quickly and maintained a high level of service, earning loyal clients and prestigious awards from its peers.
Dan has been involved in politics, served on numerous advisory boards of privately owned companies, and serves the community by participating in charitable organizations throughout Reno and Nevada.

Tim Berfield

Tim Berfield has more than 20 years of experience building hardware and software systems for both clients and companies he has co-founded. Tim has led many of these companies through start-up and growth modes through the creation of robust infrastructures and management systems.
Tim has served as chief information officer, chief technology officer, network architect and software architect in a variety of industries, including custom software development, direct marketing and transactional platform services. His understanding of business and technological systems design encompasses industries such as credit card processing, ACH and check draft processing, insurance, direct marketing and IVR systems.
Among his significant previous positions, Tim served as Chief Technology Officer of Blitz Media, a Las Vegas-based direct marketer with over 50 million in sales per year. He was President and founder of Boilfrog LLC, a web hosting company, data-center services and web design firm, and CTO of Consolidated Merchant Solutions, LLC., a Reno-based marketing management firm that provided back-office systems to clients selling products and services direct to consumers.

David returned the University for a year to obtain a major in Accounting. He joined a CPA firm in Sacramento, CA specializing in the audits of community banks and obtained his CPA license. David spent almost 20 years working in gaming, primarily at the Director of Finance/CFO level before joining ZoomAway.
